At the age of 23, God began to place a desire in Kisha's heart to seek Him and find out what He was all about. At that point in her life, she did not have any family or friends that could lead her on this particular journey. She and her husband started attending Free Gospel church, in Coral Hills, MD under the leadership of Bishop Ralph Green - where they were baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. The next several years a series of unfortunate and devastating events occurred, which resulted in her running away from God. In January of 2003, she was forced to stop running or at least slow down enough to hear the plan that God laid out for her life. Out of obedience and sacrifice she and her family moved from Upper Marlboro, MD to Culpeper, VA. Only one week from their pre-scheduled move to Culpeper, both Kisha and her husband were laid off from their jobs. Not knowing how they were going to pay their first and last month's rent or put food on the table, they took this amazing leap of faith. There have since been several powerful men and women of God strategically placed into her life. It was at that point where her destiny became clear to her.
"My mission and assignment is to minister to women of all ages who have been hurt, abused (mentally and physically) and literally torn apart from a society that has controlled us all at some point in our lives. I pray that God will use my experiences and testimonies to help break down walls, release strongholds and loosen chains that many of us have been bound with for so long."
