I Pray For You by Joyce J. Jeffrees
The truth is starring me in the face and I wonder why you cannot see.
I want to show it to you; however, you will not let me talk to you.
I would point it out, describe it to you, but I cannot talk to you.
I cannot talk to you because right now you will not listen -- your ears have become deaf.
Your eyes have become glazed over with deception.
The pasture that you are looking at is filled with weeds but you only see flowers;
Some weeds have blossoms but they eventually will overtake the beauty of a garden;
You must work hard and spend a lot of time identifying and destroying the thief of the garden.
Every sound is not melodious; every rose is not beautiful --
A loud sound can destroy the beauty of a melodious love song;
A rose that has been damaged has been robbed of its beauty.
My prayer is – “Lord, please reach my friend” --
Show my friend the trouble they are in and then show my friend the way out;
Let my friend know that I stand waiting to greet them as they turn to walk in the solution.
We will join forces, as two can put ten thousand enemies to flight;
For greater is He that is within us, than he this is in the world.
Onward Christian soldiers as we march into war – the victory is ours!!
Thank you God for talking to my friend!
When we see our loved ones in trouble;
And they will not hear our words of love and guidance, Jesus can reach them.
Don’t give up on them, but pray for our Lord to awaken and guide them in the right direction.
Our conversation of them should be limited to God and the one He directs us to that will join us in prayer -- that our loved one survives this test. In the end, we will stand in victory
together knowing that God is our conquering King. Who can stand before us when we call on that great name – JESUS!
